Speaking at CABEC

I feel honored that CHEERS has asked me to present on their behalf at the CABEC conference this year.  CABEC (California Association of Building Energy Consultants) is having their annual conference May 31 - June 2 in Sacramento.

My presentation is titled "Window Performance Essentials."  If windows are your thing, or if you want to update your understanding of them come check it out.
This is a pictures I took in a bathroom recently.  I love it!  All toilets are not created equally.  A good low flush toilet will work better than a conventional toilet but they are not all the same.  If you get one like this business did you won't be saving any water.

Water, to me, is precious ever since I carried each drop of water I used from a stream behind my house when I was in the Peace Corps.  I knew just what it took to have water.  I would filter the water first through a pillow case, then boil it before I did a final filtering before I drank it.

I have installed many different types of low flush toilets (by the way what most plumbers call a low flush toilet actually uses the largest amount of water legal to install) and have had many successes.  There are great ones out there if you know what to look for when purchasing.
